02Documented history

There is also an explanation that if you say ‘ㅇㅈ?’ too much, you will be called a ‘humanitarian.’[1]
03Origin & word formation
The initial consonants of 인정. A Kyunghyang Shinmun feature pairs the abbreviation with that word, but uses 인정 in the sense of recognizing someone's existence, rather than directly documenting its conversational use for agreement. Who first used it and when have not been verified.
Evidence for the origin explanationMedium
The initial-consonant expansion is supported, but the article discusses social recognition rather than directly documenting the everyday sense of agreement.
